Riding the Rainbow
Riding the Rainbow
Riding the Rainbow is operated by Afrilanthropy a.s.b.l. and was created after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the subsequent influx of Ukrainian refugees into Luxembourg.
Afrilanthropy a.s.b.l. is a Luxembourg based NGO dedicated to promote social innovation in Africa. When the Ukrainian war started and Luxembourg started hosting hundreds of refugees, the NGO decided to play an active role in the Luxembourg solidarity response.
Riding the Rainbow allows to bridge the gap between residents and refugees through the donation of bicycles, scooters, sports and music equipment. Basically, this initiative is aimed at young refugees, children, and teenagers, as bright emotions in the current situation help them to survive the adaptation to new conditions.
